Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BhramanKaro — including our website (bhramankaro.com) and our mobile applications for Android and iOS (together, the “Platform”) — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and do not require a physical signature.

2. Platform Description

BhramanKaro is an online marketplace operated by BhramanKaro India Pvt. Ltd. that connects users with third-party providers across several categories, including: stays (homes, hotels, resorts and unique properties); PG, co-living and long-term rentals; flights; home chefs and cooks; event and home services (cakes, decoration, pandits, singers, party staff, appliance rentals); insurance and loan products; property buy/sell and builder projects; and travel experiences. BhramanKaro facilitates discovery, booking and payment but, unless expressly stated, is not a party to the contract between you and the host, provider, seller, airline, insurer or lender. We act as an intermediary and/or limited agent to facilitate the transaction.

3. Mobile Application Licence

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the BhramanKaro mobile app on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute the app. Your download and use of the app is also subject to the terms of the app store from which you obtained it (Google Play or the Apple App Store). Updates may be provided automatically.

4. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. You may delete your account at any time as described in our Privacy Notice.

5. Bookings & Payments

• All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
• Payments are processed securely through Razorpay
• Cancellation policies vary by listing and are displayed before booking
• Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method

6. Third-Party Services

Certain offerings are provided by third parties, and your purchase is subject to their terms, fare rules, and policies in addition to these Terms:

• Flights are subject to the terms, fare rules and baggage policies of the operating airline and our flight-booking partners.
• Insurance products are underwritten by licensed insurers; coverage, claims and exclusions are governed by the relevant policy wording. BhramanKaro facilitates the purchase and is not the insurer.
• Loans are offered by partner lenders subject to their eligibility, approval and terms.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay; refunds and chargebacks are subject to its processes.

BhramanKaro is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or failures of these third parties.

7. Host & Provider Responsibilities

Hosts and service providers must ensure their listings are accurate; that properties and services are safe, lawful and as described; complete any required identity verification (KYC); and comply with all applicable laws, licences and regulations. They are responsible for paying applicable taxes on their earnings.

8. Guest & User Responsibilities

Users must treat properties and providers with respect, follow house rules, and report any damage. Guests are liable for damage caused during their stay or use of a service.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose; post false, misleading, infringing or offensive content; circumvent BhramanKaro to transact off-platform in order to avoid fees; scrape, hack, overload, or interfere with the Platform or its security; impersonate others; or upload viruses or malicious code. We may remove content and restrict access for violations.

10. Reviews

Reviews must be honest and based on actual experiences. We use a double-blind review system — both reviews are hidden until both parties submit or the 14-day deadline passes. Fake or malicious reviews will be removed.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on BhramanKaro, including design, logos, software, and text, is owned by BhramanKaro India Pvt. Ltd. Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant BhramanKaro a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and use it to operate and promote the Platform.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. BhramanKaro acts as a marketplace and is not liable for the acts, omissions, quality, safety or legality of hosts, guests, cooks, vendors, airlines, insurers, lenders or other third parties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the platform fees we earned on the specific transaction in question.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, engage in fraud or unlawful conduct, or to protect the safety of the Platform or its users. You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
